Primabake Achieves Certification by the Compost Manufacturing Alliance (CMA) for Commercial Compostability

CMA I approved logo

Primabake has been certified by the Compost Manufacturing Alliance (CMA), a global, industry-led certification organization that provides testing and certification services for compostable products. Primabake has successfully met CMA’s rigorous standards and is now CMA-I accepted.

Primabake is a premium, eco-friendly, and PFAS-free baking paper, increasingly favored by brand owners and private label manufacturers worldwide.

“While Primabake is already certified for home and industrial compost by many independent institutes around the world,” stated Hervé Brunet-Jailly, Product Manager for Primabake, “it was important for Primabake to also be certified by CMA, as it is a leading organization that goes beyond certification by performing field disintegration testing. This ensures that products break down adequately within the industrial composting cycle.” Hervé Brunet-Jailly added, “CMA closely collaborates with companies like PDL and top compost manufacturing facilities nationwide to ensure mutual success as co-creators of compost and compostables.”

With this new certification, PDL reinforces its commitment to upholding the highest environmental responsibility, innovation, and equality standards, ensuring a brighter and more sustainable future for the industry.
