PDL Unveils PrimaSilk™ renew at LUXE PACK

Publier, France – Papeteries du Léman (PDL), a global leader in lightweight paper production since 1921, will proudly participate in the Special Edition of LUXE PACK on July 1–2, 2025, at the prestigious Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.

PrimaSilk™ renew – Sustainable Luxury from Textile Co-Products

At the heart of this year’s showcase is PrimaSilk™ renew, PDL’s latest innovation in sustainable packaging. Crafted from post- and pre-consumer textile co-products, this ultra-smooth, refined paper redefines eco-luxury by repurposing surplus fibers into a premium silk paper—ideal for wrapping delicate textiles, fashion items, and fragrances.

“With PrimaSilk™ Textile, we are not only reducing waste but elevating it into something beautiful and purposeful. This product exemplifies how circular design can deliver both environmental responsibility and premium aesthetics,” said Stéphane BARBEREAU, General Manager of PDL.

A Circular Vision Inspired by European Policy

This breakthrough comes at a pivotal time. In line with new EU regulations, including mandatory textile waste collection and the implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) by January 2025, PDL is leading the way in eco-conscious innovation. These policies are set to transform the industry, demanding higher transparency, accountability, and sustainability from all players in the textile and packaging sectors.
